Disaster Aid Roadtrip - Port Macquarie

Tonight’s guest speaker was Des Watts, a Rotarian of 43 years.

Des is driving along the eastern part of Australia promoting the Disaster Aid Int. project of SKYHYDRANTSTM. An ingenious tool made on the Gold Coast to provide good clean water to people in 3rd world countries. Each SkyHydrant costs $5000 & can produce 1000 litres of clean water per hour!

Des is representing the Rotary Club of Endeavour Hills in this project & linking with Disaster Aid International. He is visiting 39 Rotary Clubs in 11 weeks.

Des had lots of great stories of his many adventures both overseas & riding around Australia on his motorbike. Des showed two video clips that were too long & robbed him of some valuable time to tell his stories.
